Open, open to all. FIDE rated.
Amateur, open to players rated under 1800.
All:
Entry Fee: $83 if received by 8-30, $95 at door. U1400 or unrated EF: $67 by 8-30, $80 door. (May play in either section)
Registration: 8:30-9:45 a.m. Saturday (3-day), 8:30-9:30 a.m. (2-day).
3-day schedule: Time control 40/2, then SD/1. Rounds 10:30-5 Saturday, 10:30-5 Sunday, 10-4:30 Monday.
2-day schedule: Rounds 1-3 time control G/60. Rounds 10-12:15-2:30 Sunday, then merges with 3-day for round 4.
Up to two half-point byes allowed in rounds 1-4 if requested with entry
USCF membership required of all players. SCCF membership required of rated Southern California residents ($18 regular, $10 junior).
